As you may or may not be aware, discussion of my blog entries is handled on The Orange Belt forums. Until now, you had to register on the forum to comment, but it occurred to me that such a thing might be a little cumbersome. So I decided to open up commenting to guests! Just click the [discuss] link at the bottom of these blog posts, then click the “Post Reply” button and type stuff! Guests can only post replies though; no editing of posts, no thread creation, and no posting ability at all outside of the Dot Matrix forum (though other forum-runnin’ folks might change this eventually, I sincerely doubt it; I likely won’t be enabling guest-posting on my other subforums). I would still ask you to register on the forums and join the community, but if you just need to make a one-shot comment, that is now your wont. Wont away!

This post is mostly for people who see my entries via RSS feed or forum, but hey! Check it out! Minor site revamp! I’m going for a decidedly Game Boyish color scheme, moving away from the fall leaves somewhat. Not that I dislike the FallSeason theme, I think it’s pretty nice, but I really did consider it a starting point for giving this blog a design of my own.
I’m most proud of the header image. It was a lot of fun doing pixel artwork in the Game Boy style. I don’t consider the image or the site design to be anywhere near complete, but I tend to do my best site design work in small steps. Let me know what you think!

Howdy Inter-folk! I’m a bit new to the whole “serious blogging” thing, but I feel that I’ve got a lot to contribute to the whole video game discussion “scene”. So I made a video game discussion blog! If you think this means a blog updated semi-regularly talking about the state of the industry, reviewing a game or two, and lamenting the inability to find a Wii Remote: you’re right! You must be very smart.
